Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the contractual relationship between DrivrMe (hereinafter "the Driving School," "we," or "us") and any individual (hereinafter "the Student" or "you") who registers for, or makes use of, our driving instruction services.

By registering with DrivrMe, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with enrolment.

DrivrMe provides professional driving instruction and examination preparation for the following license classes:

• Class B — Standard car license (manual & automatic, up to 3.5 tonnes)
• Class BF17 — Accompanied driving from age 17 (Begleitetes Fahren)
• Class BE — Car with heavy trailer
• Class B78 — Automatic-only license
• Class B197 — Automatic license with manual endorsement

All services are subject to the regulations of the German Driving License Ordinance (Fahrerlaubnis-Verordnung, FeV) and the Road Traffic Act (Straßenverkehrsgesetz, StVG).

To register with DrivrMe, the student must:

• Be of the minimum legal age for the chosen license class
• Provide a valid government-issued photo ID
• Provide a biometric passport photo
• Hold a valid first-aid certificate (Erste-Hilfe-Kurs) — mandatory for license applications in Germany
• Pass an eyesight test or provide a valid optician's certificate

The training contract becomes binding upon receipt of the signed enrolment form and payment of the registration fee.

All fees are communicated clearly at the time of enrolment. Our pricing structure includes a basic registration amount, per-lesson fees, and statutory exam fees (TÜV/DEKRA). There are no hidden charges.

• The registration/basic fee is due upon signing the training contract
• Driving lesson fees are due within 7 days of the completed lesson
• Exam fees are due in full before the examination is booked
• All prices include VAT where applicable under German law

Payments can be made by bank transfer, cash, or other methods agreed at enrolment. Receipts will be provided upon request.

We understand that scheduling conflicts arise. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• More than 48 hours' notice: Lesson cancelled free of charge and rescheduled at no cost
• 24–48 hours' notice: 50% of the lesson fee will be charged
• Less than 24 hours' notice or no-show: The full lesson fee is charged

Cancellations must be communicated directly to DrivrMe by phone or email. Cancellations left as voicemails or sent outside business hours (Mon–Fri, 08:00–18:00) count from the next business day opening.

The student agrees to:

• Arrive punctually for all scheduled lessons (10 minutes late may result in forfeiture of the lesson)
• Not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair driving ability
• Treat instructors, staff, and vehicles with respect at all times
• Inform DrivrMe of any medical condition, disability, or medication that may affect driving ability
• Complete all mandatory training components within the agreed timeframe (typically 120 days from start date)
• Follow all instructions given by the driving instructor during lessons

DrivrMe will advise the student when they are ready for their theory and practical examinations. However, the final decision rests with the student.

• Theory exams are administered by TÜV/DEKRA and governed by their regulations
• If a student fails the theory exam, additional preparation lessons may be required at standard rates
• If a student fails the practical exam, a minimum number of additional driving lessons is usually required before re-sitting — DrivrMe will advise accordingly
• Exam booking fees paid to TÜV/DEKRA are non-refundable in the event of failure or no-show
• DrivrMe does not guarantee a pass — examination outcomes depend on the student's individual performance

DrivrMe holds full statutory insurance coverage for all training vehicles and lessons conducted by our instructors. During a lesson, the instructor retains responsibility for the safe operation of the vehicle via dual controls.

• DrivrMe is not liable for personal belongings lost or damaged during lessons
• DrivrMe is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including failed employment opportunities due to examination outcomes
• Our liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount paid by the student for the specific service in question

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, which cannot be excluded under German law (§309 Nr. 7 BGB).

These Terms & Conditions are governed exclusively by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contractual relationship is Karlsruhe, Germany, provided the student is a business or does not have a general place of jurisdiction in Germany.

In the event of a dispute, we encourage students to contact us directly in the first instance. We are committed to resolving issues amicably and promptly.

DrivrMe reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Students will be notified of any material changes by email or via a notice on our website at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use of our services after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
